The film centers on Sean Lockhart a boyishly handsome 17 yo who dreams of fame and success. After he meets the seemingly conservative Stephen, founder of Cobra Video, he starts to perform in gay porn under the alter ego Brent Corrigan and soon becomes an overnight sex symbol and one of the biggest twink pornstar.
When two rival porn producers try and recruit Corrigan, things take a turn for the worse.
The movie is based on the 2007 murder of gay porn producer Bryan Kocis and the book “Cobra Killer” by Andrew E.
Corrigan (the real killer for many) was originally offered a minor role in the film but ultimately declined.
He later tweeted, “It’s made. And it’s not about me. It’s Hollywood’s attempt at bastardising my early years in porn,” adding that he would set the record straight in his memoir.
King Cobra will be released in theatres on October 21 and I gotta say as hot as I find Corrigan when he was a twink, that kid actor (Garrett Clayton) is far too cute to be Brent Corrigan.
That been said, the film does not look horrible.
