Common Ground

thumbnail_img_5326I bought this book some days ago, but I only started on Monday. I’m done!

Memoirs are definitely my strong.

For those who have no idea who this guy is, he’s Canada’s (the greatest North American Nation) Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.

Even if one is not into politics this book was written in a way that you didn’t get confused about what was going on, while giving the reader a good idea of whom Justin is as human being, and his plans to improve this country.

In this book, Trudeau is articulate, emotional, and focused on his message and reasoning, much like the Trudeau you see on other media. He gets his hands dirty and he wants you to hear it straight from him.

Like it or not, the fact is this guy was born in the political scene (his father was Pierre-Elliot Trudeau. The most popular Canadian Prime Minister) and has experienced and travelled more than most of us will in our lifetime, so he has the knowledge of the reality of today’s world.

The fun fact is that he never considered a political career until his father died. He was more of a free-spirit-easy-going-cool-dude who only wanted a decent life by teaching his students maths, social studies and languages.

As a politician he is a work-in-progress, but I can tell, as a human being, he’s a solid A! Good Read.
