This movie is based on the real events of heroic airline pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, who successfully did an emergency landing of an Airbus A320 full of passengers on the Hudson River in 2009.
This is a movie to watch on a lazy day, so you can fall asleep not even feeling guilty about missing anything.
See, it’s real life story… and yet there is very little story here.
The story is retold a few times instead of hashing out more details on Sully himself (or other characters,) so it’s pretty redundant and turns in circles until the end.
Tom Hanks was his usual excellent self, Aaron Eckhart was pretty good as well and everything was overall fine. Yet, not memorable whatsoever.
Good story, but a bit boring for me.
